After being on the fence about the vaccine, we took Arianna on Monday to get it. I'm SO relieved to have it done! She will need one more shot next month to be 100% protected so I'm just hoping they get another shipment in before then.
After weighing the pro's and con's we believe Arianna getting the swine flu would be worse than the shot. I know many of you are on the fence about it and I hope you come to the best solution for your child.

We are eagerly anticipating getting the vaccination for Elijah. I think you will be able to feel my huge sigh of relief all the way from Arizona when it happens!
Sebastian got his first dose of the vaccine today. Our pediatrician's office has been getting 300 calls a day from people who have the flu or are looking for the vaccine. I feel very fortunate that he was able to get the vaccine, especially since we have a newborn in the house.
By the way, I see that Arianna is going to be turning THREE soon! Wow, big girl!
Wow, Arianna is looking like such a big girl! So did she do ok with the vaccine? I still have not made up my mind. I thought I had...then we all got sick with the flu (not sure if H1N1 or not) but Angelina did ok. I mean she was barely sick, and her brother had ALL the flu symptoms including fever. I am thankful that she did well =)
Logan also got the Swine Flu shot he will get his second does this month, I am with you it is better safe then sorry. He also got the Flu vaccine shot. I have to cover all my bases.
Hope she stays healthy this season.
