Arianna's heart sister, Liz, and her son, Kyle, came by tonight to see us! Arianna and Kyle have known each other since they were about 2 yrs old. I just love watching them play. Kyle is so compassionate to Arianna and concerned about her upcoming heart surgery. Having a CHD'er as a mom makes his super sensitive to these things. Don't tell Daddy but I think he would be the perfect husband for her. :)

| Grams giving Ari some love before she leaves. My mom is incredibly helpful. After a long day at work she came over to help clean the kids rooms for me. I'm just so overwhelmed and I cannot tell you how much this helped me. Thank you Mom! You really are the best! Plus, she got some extra lovey time with Ari. :) |

Tomorrow is the night before surgery so I started getting things pulled out and packed. We will finish the rest tomorrow. We got for the hospital tour tomorrow at 12:30pm and then have pre-op right after. we have been to the hospital many times before and I'm very familiar with the PICU but I want to make sure to answer all of Arianna's questions and I know the Child Life Specialists are great with this kind of stuff!
I'm getting really scared and sick thinking how close we are to surgery. I just keep praying and asking God to carry us through this time. I took my 2 exams at school yesterday and today and dont think I did too well. I can't function all that well these days, especially study for tests. I literally broke down just walking in to class today. My poor teacher took me in the back and let me take my exam in the office. She told me not to stress that there is the optional final I can take and replace with this grade. She let me cry and talk for a minute and was so incredibly understanding. She even let me get out of doing the lab today without docking points. That was incredibly nice! I know my other class is harder and that grade no matter what goes to the overall grade so nothing I can do now but try to keep up with my studying while in the hospital and homework. It will be a challenge but I will stay up when Arianna takes naps..I've done it for her last hospital stay in January.
Well my girl just dripped off to sleep without crying tonight. Praise God! Thank you for all the prayers. We continue to need them and appreciate them!

It was our pleasure!!! We love you guys, and you are our family! Kyle and Ari are so cute together and the two of them when together are inseprable. I love you and helping mom out any way I could last night was the least I can do. I'm happy I was able to talk with Ari. She is amazing and she knows God will be there with his angels watching over her during surgery. Lots of love to you guys!!!!!
